Friedland performs solo and as a duo with long-time musical collaborators including Catherine Bent (cello), Ran Blake (piano), Rob Flax (violin), Lihi Haruvi (sax), Shaw Pong Liu (violin), Åsa Runefelt (vocals), Nadia Washington (vocals), and others.
Over the years, he has collaborated with many musicians within jazz and beyond. His community projects bring together a wide array of artists, and he has recorded on numerous albums for other musicians, including Alex Lee Clark, Nick Grondin, Kim Richmond, and Åsa Runfelt.
